Cooking Instructions
- Add the bag of basil pesto to a bowl of cold water to thaw while you get started.
- In a large non-stick pan, add the contents of the pomodoro sauce along with 1 cup of water and cook for 5-6 minutes on high heat until sauce is thawed and starting to boil.
- Add the gnocchi and cook for additional 3-4 minutes stirring occasionally until the gnocchi are soft and the sauce is reduced to a creamy consistency.
- Cut a small corner of the basil pesto bag to create a hole for piping.
- Plate the gnocchi, pipe over the basil pesto and garnish with grated parmesan. Enjoy!
