Enjoy the perfect fajita, whatever that means for you. We’ll bring the sizzling chicken strips, bell peppers, and onions seasoned to perfection, our in-house salsa roja featuring jalapeno, ancho chili powder, lime juice, and cotija cheese for a sharp garnish. All you have to bring is your appetite, creativity, and maybe a few napkins (these can get saucy!)

Ingredients: Chicken thigh boneless skinless, Flour tortillas (Enriched wheat flour, Water, Canola oil and modified palm and palm kernel oil, Shortening, Sugar, Salt, Baking powder, Vegetable mono-and-diglycerides, Calcium propionate, Fumaric acid, Guar gum, Potassium sorbate, Modified cellulose), Canned tomatoes (Tomato juice, Salt, Calcium chloride, Citric acid), Green bell pepper, Red bell pepper, Yellow bell pepper, Red onion, Yellow onion, Olive oil, Cotija cheese (Milk, Salt, Microbial enzymes, Culture), Lime juice (Water concentrated lime juice, Sulphites, Lime oil), Garlic, Jalapeno pepper, Chipotle in adobo (Water, Chipotle pepper, Onion, Vinegar, Tomato, Soybean oil, Spices), Granulated sugar, Kosher salt, Paprika, Chili powder, Onion powder, Cumin, Garlic powder, Ground black pepper, Coriander, Ancho chili powder, Corn starch, Oregano.

Cooking Instructions

  1. Add the salsa roja pouch to a bowl of cold water to thaw while you get started.
  2. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium high heat until hot. Once hot, add the contents of the chicken and vegetable pouch and cook for 4-5 min, stirring occasionally until warmed through.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a second non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the flour tortillas 1-2 at a time and reheat for 20-30 seconds per side, or until the tortillas are warmed through. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  4. Plate the tortillas and fill with the chicken and pepper mix.
  5. Remove the salsa roja from the water. Using scissors, cut the corner of the pouch and drizzle over the fajitas. Garnish with the queso cotija cheese and enjoy!
